“Always sceptical about a new site but, the reviews we read were good so gave it a try and we weren't disappointed. The staff were happy and helpful, the facilities- shop, pool, little clubhouse, children's play area were great and the shower block one of the best we have used in all our years of camping with a family, clean, separate wash cubicles and spacious showers. Good size pitch with space between the rows of tents. Well recommended, we will definitely be going back. Thanks to all the staff for a great holiday. ”

“Just arrived back from a great week at West Fleet. We stayed four years ago and the improvements to the club house have made a big difference. My 7 year old loved the magic show and the pool, which was clean and looked very inviting.The views all around are amazing and there is a large green area for kids to play and fly kites.The EHU pitches are very generous for a family tent and one car and still have space,we had pitch 5 in paddock A which we would love to have again.The entertainment promptly closes at 10pm and everyone goes quiet soon after that which is another plus point especially when you can hear the music clearly in your tent. The play area is good,there are only a few things that are not complete but still a few things to play on. Food is only served between 6-9pm for dinner and I would suggest getting there early so you don't have a long wait. Overall I would recommend West Fleet and we will be returning”

“Well this will be our 8th year in a row of staying at West Fleet - that should tell you alone what an amazing site it is. Fabulous views, loads of open space, quiet and peaceful and lots to do for the children. Our daughter is twelve this year and begs us to book it again for the next year. Our dog seems to know where he is when we pull up to check in. The staff are so kind and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them . All goes quiet at night which is great for the little ones no trouble sleeping what so ever and in the morning the waft of smelling bacon is enough to pull anyone out of there slumber lol!”

“Wow a new bar this year with stage and arcade for the kids. WE have stayed on camp for two weeks, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the entertainment is fantastic and fun for all the family. There is always hot water and the showers are always clean. There is sometimes a queue but they go down quick enough. There swimming pool is a little cold when you first get in, but that doesn’t bother the children. The no ball games rule and no jumping in I think is fantastic. I can’t rate the whole camp highly enough and will definitely be going again as we booked before leaving!”

“Just returned from an absolutely brilliant holiday, the site is amazing. The place is spotlessly clean, the cleaners were constantly in and out of the showers/toilets. Pool was brilliant, we even went in in the rain and the temperature was great, spotlessly clean too. Great clubhouse and food in the restaurant. Shop was ideal for everyday purchases and a few pressies to take home [the bread is yummy]. Could have done with some lighting on the tracks as it’s a bit of a dark trek late at night from paddock d to the toilets, but was able to get a torch from the shop! Great coastal walk, glad we did it in reverse when we got to the hill. Staff were all very friendly and helpful too. Will definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you.”

“August 2012. We have just returned from 2 weeks at West Fleet. The site was lovely. The electric hook-up pitches are sheltered, spacious and the site is clean and tidy. The shower/loo block is obviously brand new and kept very clean with hot water at all times. There is a covered washing up area towards the back of the block. We found the showers quieter in the evening. Our kids spent loads of time in the park and in the club where there is nightly entertainment and the food is tasty. The pool was very busy, it being August. It is well sheltered and the water was warm. The staff in the shop/reception are friendly and helpful and the shop is well stocked. We were pleased with the site’s clear rules on noise, bbqs and pool safety. We would definitely visit here again .”

“Just got back from 2 weeks at West Fleet (4th - 18thAugust and was not disappointed. It lived up to all good reviews and hype we had read. The pitch (electric hook-up) was very spacious yet there was plenty of room on the field for all the kids in our paddock to play. The shower and toilet block was always clean and the pool very clean and inviting on the hot days. The site shop was probably the best stocked one we had come across. It was still a quiet family-friendly site, the toilet block had been rebuilt and was spotlessly clean. “Nine happy campers stayed at West Fleet for the first time over the Royal Wedding Bank Holiday. Found a perfect pitch from a vast choice we were offered. FANTASTIC toilet facilities, even the old block very hot water at all times of day or night. The £20 per head cash bond is a GREAT system especially when we and a few others had to complain the morning after a disrupted night. They were told to leave. So this is a good no mucking around at the expense of others campsite. Lots of play areas for children and even though we never used the pool, it looked great. Evening entertainment was good for those with children and amazing breakfast for the price BUT a long long wait, in fact too long. That was the only downside to our stay and we will be staying again. Thank you.”
